My question is two fold. First, there were all these other miracle workers before Jesus and at the same time as Jesus, specifically in the Galilee. Guys like Honi the circle maker and Hanina Ben Dosa are well known and some even have current Jewish followers! So what was it that made Jesus so special that he shaped a whole religion but these guys didn’t? And second, could it really be JUST the resurrection that singles Jesus out from this pack of constant and fervent group of miracle makers in Judea? Because it seems that there should be more for an entire religion to stand on.
Thanks for your attention to my question! I hope it’ll be one you can answer. I’m a supporter and have listened to every podcast at least twice, and you shape the way I approach my relationship with God each day. Thanks for all you do.
