Ask Pete How can “normal people” actually read the Bible and apply it, when everything is so seemingly confusing and murky?

I love the Bible, but it seems like the only way to be able to read it and really apply it is to be a scholar, an academic, a PhD having boss like you guys. How can all the normal people out here steward the book well, when we are not all those things??
