Hi sorry if you did already talk about this, and if you did please let me know. I was going over some verses that were pretty jarring. Like 1 Kings 22 where God says a lying spirit, Ezekiel 14 where God said he causes the prophet to give a false prophecy, 2 Thess with a great delusion, or Jeremiah said he deceived his people. I know 1 Kings is. a weird example since God explained what was going on ahead of time, and apparently in the Talmud Sanderin 89a it was Naboth who God allowed to go deceive the prophets, but reading those verses had been perplexing. Idk if people are trying really hard to make all things go back to God but would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks!
